Celebrating a new beginning for .travel

Tralliance is celebrating a new beginning for .travel. In December, new policy changes were put in place, and purchases and use of .travel domain names have increase significantly. The renewed interest by the industry in its own top-level domain is very exciting.

With such a great destination, the Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau was in need of a great marketing tool to pair with such a mecca of travel and tourism. Cancun found this tool in .travel. “Cancun recognizes the importance of the Internet for the tourism industry, that’s why our efforts are directed to promote our web page in all of our marketing campaigns, ” said Arturo Escaip, CEO of the Cancun Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Who can register a .travel domain?
A .travel domain name is available to everyone who provides or plan to provide services, products or content in or to the travel industry. New travel startups are welcome, and that includes every new travel content provider.

Please enter your name without diacritical marks (accents, umlauts etc), using the unmarked character.
