Highlighted in New Faces in .travel this week is www.south-pacific.travel With a combined effort of 200+ major tourism operators and 13 government members, The South Pacific Tourism Organization needed a unifying marketing plan that would stretch the globe. .travel was part of that plan. Since its launch, www.south-pacific.travel has witnessed an increase of visitations to the website (75,475 visits in January 2008).

The intended sale will not result in changes to management, policies, or to Tralliance’s relationship with the TTPC. Under the new structure, Tralliance will operate more efficiently and cost savings will allow us to allocate more dollars to the promotion of the domain.
